Vigila Wealth ("Vigila", "we", "us") is the data controller for the information collected through this website and the Vigila Wealth iOS app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

This policy covers two separate things: the Vigila Wealth app and this website. What we collect is different in each case, and the distinction matters.

The app: your financial data stays with you

Vigila Wealth is designed so that your financial data never reaches our servers.

Everything you enter into the app — asset names, values, currencies, countries, asset classes, dates, and notes — is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, that data syncs through Apple's CloudKit to your own private iCloud account.

We cannot see it. We do not receive it. We do not store it. There is no Vigila server holding your net worth.

This is a structural choice, not a policy promise. The app has no account aggregation, no bank connections, and no transaction access — so less sensitive data exists in the first place.

What the app does not do

• No bank logins or account credentials
• No transaction history access
• No third-party account linking or aggregation
• No advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or behavioural analytics
• No sale or sharing of any data

What the app connects to

The app makes a small number of anonymous requests to external services to keep values current:

• Frankfurter — for currency exchange rates
• CoinGecko — for cryptocurrency prices

These are anonymous price lookups. No personal or financial information about you is sent with these requests. The services receive only the currency pair or asset symbol being looked up.

iCloud and CloudKit

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your own private iCloud database, governed by Apple's privacy terms. We have no access to it. Disabling iCloud sync keeps your data entirely on your device.

Deleting your app data

Deleting the app removes local data from your device. To remove synced data, delete the app's data from your iCloud settings. Because we never hold your financial data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

The website: what we collect

When you join our early access list, we collect:

• Your name (optional)
• Your email address

That is all. We do not collect financial information, account credentials, or transaction history through this website.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

• Notify you when early access becomes available
• Send occasional product updates about Vigila Wealth
• Understand who is interested in the product

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

How we process it

The waitlist form on this website is processed using Cloudflare services. Submitted information is stored securely and used only to manage the Vigila Wealth waitlist, send product updates, and identify people interested in early contributor opportunities.

We use Resend as our email delivery provider to send waitlist and early contributor emails. Resend processes email delivery data on our behalf.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or behavioural analytics services on this website.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until:

• You ask us to delete it, or
• The waitlist programme ends and we delete all records.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Note that these rights apply to the data we actually hold — which, for app users, is nothing. Your financial data is under your control on your own device and in your own iCloud account.

This website uses only the essential cookies required for the form to function. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

The app does not use cookies.
